The event was inaugurated by Deputy Ombudsman for Human Rights, Maria Marilia da Costa, who welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of understanding citizens’ perceptions for effective governance. Throughout the training, attendees gained valuable insights into research methodologies and participated in practical exercises aimed at surveying real perceptions regarding good governance and anti-corruption.

A key objective of the training was to empower personnel from the CAC, PDHJ, and other control institutions to design and implement effective survey methodologies. Participants were equipped to conduct in-depth analyses and make proactive recommendations to improve governance and accountability.
