The program gathered 69 participants, including 35 women and 34 men, representing elders, youth, veterans, and community leaders. Marcos N. Ulan, male Delegate of Malelat Village, expressed satisfaction with the initiative, noting that it helps the community better understand their rights and duties as citizens, as well as the state’s obligations in guaranteeing those rights. He further suggested that state institutions conduct regular visits to villages in order to assess people’s living conditions and identify development priorities, particularly in infrastructure, electricity, education, health, agriculture, and subsidy distribution. Rosina Mala, female Delegate of Malelat Village, praised the program for sharing valuable information with community leaders and residents about their rights and responsibilities. She also pointed to local challenges, such as poor-quality PNDS projects and abandoned initiatives, and called on PDHJ to continue monitoring state projects and public services to ensure that they generate positive impacts. Community member Silvestre Punef Abi also appreciated the opportunity to participate, noting that the session provided important knowledge about PDHJ’s role in protecting human rights, particularly for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, who often face challenges accessing subsidies due to weak oversight from local authorities. The socialization program was warmly received by the Malelat community, who welcomed PDHJ’s presence and direct engagement in addressing their concerns."}
